SM Store Launches “Shop & Share for Education” to Support Children in Need

This back-to-school season, SM Store invites everyone to be part of a meaningful mission to make education more accessible for Filipino children. With its Shop & Share for Education campaign, SM Store gives shoppers a chance to give the gift of learning to those who need it most.

From May 1 to 31, customers who shop at any SM Store branch nationwide can donate a back-to-school kit for only ₱99 with a minimum ₱3,000 single-receipt purchase. Each school kit will be distributed to underprivileged students across the country through SM Store’s trusted partner schools and NGOs. In Mindanao, the participating SM Store includes SM Store Davao, SM Store Lanang, SM Store CDO Downtown, SM Store CDO Uptown, SM Store Butuan, SM Store General Santos, and SM Store Mindpro Zamboanga.

“Every child deserves the tools to succeed in school, and with the support of our shoppers, we can help make that happen,” said Mary Angela Velasco, Marketing Manager of SM Store Mindpro in Zamboanga City. “Through this campaign, we aim to bridge the gap in access to education—one school kit at a time.”

This initiative is part of SM Store’s continuing commitment to social good and community development, reinforcing its role as Your Everyday Store that goes beyond retail.

Let’s make this school year brighter for thousands of children. Shop, share, and spark hope through education.
