The SM Foundation conducted medical missions in Cebu this September,
further bolstering its health and medical programs following the recent
turnover of the San Remigio Primary Care Facility and the Naval Base Rafael
Ramon Medical and Dental Dispensary in the province.
With its social good partners, Watsons Personal Care Store, Unilab, and the local government of Lapu-Lapu City, SM Foundation brought its services to Olango Island. |
The first mission was held on at the Banilad Study Center in Cebu
City. A total of 901 medical and diagnostic services were provided, including
medical consultations, dental care, and glucose, cholesterol, uric acid, and
hemoglobin tests. The SM Foundation Mobile Clinic also extended free X-rays and
ECGs.

The said mission was organized in partnership with Banilad Study
Center, Kalinangan Youth Foundation, University of Cebu College of Medicine,
and Cebu Digital Hearing Solutions.

For its second leg, SM Foundation brought its services to Olango
Island, Lapu-Lapu City. The activity extended 1,445 services. The medical
mission was conducted with social good partners Watsons Personal Care Store,
Unilab, and the local government of Lapu-Lapu City.
Through its social good collaboration with Banilad Study Center, Kalinangan Youth Foundation, University of Cebu College of Medicine, and Cebu Digital Hearing Solutions, the SM Foundation medical mission provided patients with various health services, including hearing tests. |
