More than 45,000 Vaccinated at SM City Mindpro

With the recent nationwide vaccination campaign dubbed as “Bayanihan Bakunahan” of the national government, SM Supermalls worked with various Local Government Units to further strengthen the deployment of COVID-19 vaccines to cater more Filipinos across the country.

 


We at SM Supermalls have always believed that getting vaccinated is the best defense Filipinos have against the COVID-19 virus. In the past months of working together with the government, we have achieved great things. We thank the government for the opportunity to serve the country and our fellow Filipinos as we open more convenient and accessible mall vaccination sites nationwide,” said Steven Tan, President of SM Supermalls.


SM City Mindpro became a venue for vaccination in the city since May of this year and has helped achieved more than 45,000 inoculations – 6 percent of the total doses administered in Zamboanga City. During the 3-day Bayanihan Bakunahan, SM City Mindpro served as a safe and convenient venue for the nationwide vaccination initiative and administered to more than 3,000 jabs from different categories including the pediatric group. 


SM City Mindpro will continue to support the City Government of Zamboanga in achieving the herd immunity. We opened our cinemas and unleased spaces to cater to more Zamboangueños for their vaccination. Let us be heroes in this fight against COVID-19. I encourage everyone to get vaccinated,” said Assistant Mall Manager Aileen Ann Villa-Enriquez. 


To note, SM City Mindpro achieved the 100% fully vaccinated status across all its employees last month, and this is one of the initiatives to provide a safe haven for the mall-goers. For those who want to get vaccinated, registration can be done online through zambocare.com


Aside from the vaccination drive, SM City Mindpro is also a venue of the PSA’s National ID registration and LGU’s VaxCertPH.

SM City Mindpro Achieves 100% Vaccination Status

In partnership with the Local Government Unit and City Health Office of Zamboanga City, SM City Mindpro has successfully achieved 100 percent vaccination status across employees, affiliates, agencies and tenant partners.

 

#SMILoveMyJab. SM City Mindpro reached another milestone by achieving 100% fully vaccination status across all employees.


For the safety of its frontline workers and customers, and to stay true to its commitment to provide safe malling experience, SM City Mindpro encouraged all its employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19, and rewardingly became one of the SM Supermalls to hit the 100% vaccination status. 




We are fully vaxxed! SM City Mindpro reached yet another milestone as we end the year – all thanks to the support of the City Health Office and our Local Government Unit”, said Assistant Mall Manager Aileen Ann Villa-Enriquez. 



To recall, it was on May this year when the mall management and Zamboanga City government inked the partnership for the mall to provide convenient, safe, and accessible vaccination site to Zamboangueños. To date, additional vaccination sites at Cinemas 1 and 2 were opened to further expand its vaccination program, including the Pediatric Vaccination. 



Meanwhile, SM City Mindpro actively promotes its “Vax, Shop and Dine” rewards program in support to the #IngatAngatBakunaLahat campaign to give freebies and discounts to vaccinated mall customers.

SM Launches Bears of Joy Campaign 2021

SMCares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom are once again inviting SM shoppers to share the holiday cheer with children in need with the return of its long-running charity project, the SM Bears of Joy. The project happens every year to bring much-needed smiles to children during the Christmas season.


Mall shoppers can purchase a pair of specially designed bear plushies, one for their keeping and the other to be donated to children in various communities across the country. The plushies, priced at Php250 per pair, are available in select SM Malls nationwide and through the online stores of Toy Kingdom and The SM Store from November 12 to December 25, 2021. SM City Mindpro launched the campaign at the Level 2 fronting The SM Store.


This year’s collection features designs inspired by four of the most common interests and hobbies that many Filipinos took up significantly during the pandemic. They are Cookie the Baker Bear, Sunny the Plant Lover Bear, Cammy the Vlogger Bear, and Journey the Biker Bear.



“Every year, we encourage our shoppers to remember the importance of charity, sharing, and giving, especially during Christmas.  The unwavering participation and support of SM customers have impacted the lives of countless children in need. We hope to continue seeing that in the years to come,”

This year, SM City Mindpro partnered with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) IX, City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), and private centers for children for the distribution of donated toys to their respective beneficiaries.
