SM Supermalls Vice President for Operations’ Junias M. Eusebio and the
Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman George Erwin Garcia led the signing
of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for this year's COMELEC voter registration
and Register Anywhere Program. The MOA signing was held in Intramuros, Manila
on February 8, 2024.
“At SM, we believe in the power of participation and the importance of every voice in shaping our nation's future. By providing accessible venues for voter registration and supporting the Register Anywhere Program in our malls, we are not just making the process even more convenient for all but we are also enabling empowerment within our communities,” said SM’s Junias Eusebio.
Under this partnership, select SM malls will serve as key venues for
voter registration, providing convenient locations across the country for
citizens to register and update their voter information.

Additionally, the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) will allow eligible
voters to register in any COMELEC office, satellite registration centers, or
designated registration areas, further streamlining the process and expanding
access.
The MOA signing represents a significant step forward in promoting voter engagement in the country ahead of the midterm polls in 2025. Through this collaboration, SM Supermalls and COMELEC aim to facilitate a more inclusive and accessible voter registration process, ultimately empowering citizens to make their voices heard in shaping the nation's future.
