SM Supermalls begun its multi-mall vaccination drive as it inks partnership with various LGUs nationwide to be the venue for their COVID-19 vaccination program.
“As part of our continuing efforts in preventing the further spread of COVID-19, SM malls all over the country can provide convenient, safe and accessible venues for the community to get vaccinated. Through our long-standing relationship with the LGUs, we remain committed in ensuring the health and safety of the public,” said SM Supermalls President Steven Tan.
Last May 14, SM City Mindpro, together with the City Government of Zamboanga headed by City Health Office, rolled out the vaccination program where SM’s spacious cinema hallway was repurposed to hold the vaccination activity. The program prioritizes the inoculation of front liners, senior citizens and people with comorbidities. The vaccination drive is also aiming for more than a hundred vaccinees a day.

The City Government of Zamboanga is also encouraging the public to get vaccinated. Its registration is ongoing and Zamboangueños can do this online thru the website https://zambocovax.com/ or can register in their respective barangay health centers.
