As part of its 5M donation, the
fast retailing fashion brand Uniqlo donated more than 500 dinnerware sets to
typhoon-affected families in Zamboanga City last January 27.
94 families in Cabatangan evacuation center and 469 families in Tumaga were recipients of the dinner sets which were turned over by SM City Mindpro employee-volunteers led by its Assistant Mall Manager Engr. Rommel Bellen.
“Many of them did not recovered yet from the effects of TS Paeng. Uniqlo and SM Foundation’s donation is very timely and we saw how happy and grateful they were when they received the dinnerware sets”, shared Engr. Rommel Bellen.
