SM Supermalls, the country's biggest mall network, join the Second
Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 28 at exactly 2PM.
SM City Mindpro went on full information drive to raise awareness about the
drill. An Emergency Response Group was activated to ensure smooth
implementation.
Mall employees who are members of the Emergency Response Group, as
well as the malls’ security group guided employees, tenants, agency personnel,
and shoppers to the evacuation area where medical personnel are also on
standby.
The importance of disaster preparedness and resiliency is key across SM’s operations, from its management down to the employees and mall frontliners.
