SM Foundation, Inc. (SMFI) responds to the call for help by providing
relief packs to the fire victims of Barangay Camino Nuevo temporarily housed in
the barangay’s covered court.
Through the Operation Tulong Express program, employee volunteers of
SM City Mindpro distributed the relief items containing rice, noodles, bottled
water, and canned goods to 182 families at the barangay covered court.
Moreover, the program also extended its relief operations to the affected SM
tenant employees.
The Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) is a social good program of SM
Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets that provides
relief and support in communities affected by calamities and crisis.
To fulfill its “Supporting Communities” promise, SM Foundation serves communities through outreach initiatives like this, as well as provide customers nationwide with relevant and helpful services.
